This business area provides for a wide-range of training activities. ALSI through its affiliates provides for Military Combat Skills Training support. ALSI also provides the Special Operations Command with the skills and knowledge required of all special operations soldiers assigned to the unit. Training includes Combatives, Land Navigation, Weapons Training, and First Responder (medical training).

This business area provides for rotary-wing aircraft flight training, flight operations coordination, instructional training materials development and publication, and training logistics and administrative support. This includes rotary-wing training, training development, training support, training logistics

support, training administrative support, and designated instructional and simulation rehearsal training.

This business area provides training for students in personal “Unarmed/Armed” security operations, Physical Security, Operations Security (OPSEC), Essential Elements of Friendly Information (EEFI), Situational Awareness, Information

Security, and Information Systems Security. This training includes providing training on a variety of security related equipment such as radios, aircraft survivability equipment, infrared countermeasures, receivers, and transmitters.

ALSI provides training scenarios for students including confrontation situations, adversary capabilities, vulnerabilities, and probable courses of action. ALSI reviews and approves all security policies outlining and establishes measures and procedures for handling, storing, safekeeping, and final

disposition of reports, records and documents for IDR personnel or visitors entry into protected and restricted areas.
